Kamala Nehru College focuses on a holistic education geared towards academic excellence. It is a wonderful hub of academic and cultural activity with all the stakeholdersµthe Principal, Teachers, Students, Parents and other Staffµworking together towards the ultimate goal of raising the level of students’ achievements. The college believes in creating and disseminating knowledge and skills through innovative teaching methods, research, consultation, counselling and publishing.

The college stands for the empowerment of today’s women. The Women’s Development Cell (WDC) critically engages in contemporary gender issues. We run a certificate course in Women’s Studies. The Consumer Club at KNC is meant to focus the attention of the youth on the fact that it is they who drive the markets rather than being driven by it. Green Beans is the environment club of Kamala Nehru College. We practise water harvesting, waste management and are recognized by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).
